1. Anesthesia and Preparation
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. Three small incisions (0,5-1.5cm) are made in the abdominal wall
2. Minimally Invasive Access
A mini-laparoscope and small endoscopic instruments are inserted through the incisions, allowing the surgeon to visualize the gallbladder in real time.
3. Removal of Gallstones
An endoscope is introduced directly into the gallbladder. Stones are removed using special grasping instruments. If stones are large, they may be fragmented and then extracted piece by piece.
4. Removal of Polyps
Polyps are identified under endoscopic guidance and carefully removed using microsurgical instruments. Any bleeding is controlled with electrocoagulation.
5. Closure
After confirming that all stones and polyps have been removed, the internal incision in the gallbladder is closed with absorbable sutures. The skin incisions are sealed with medical adhesive for a better cosmetic result.
6. Laboratory Analysis
Removed stones and polyps are sent for laboratory examination.
Patients can usually walk within about 8 hours after surgery.
Hospital stay lasts 5 days.
